THE DAILY STORY
The Foire Internationale d’Art Contemporain (fiac), for years an underdog in the packed European fair circuit, seemed to finally gain traction with its first Basel-style VIP stampede last year. This year heavy hitters like Gagosian, Lisson, David Zwirner, and White Cube will be joined from October 18 through 21 by continental favorites Galerie Perrotin, Rodolphe Janssen, and Nathalie Obadia. Galleries from farther afield include Kukje Gallery, of Seoul, and the Third Line, bringing the United Arab Emirates to fiac for the first time.
